Dina Born in Forest Hills Queens and raised in the Queens area. However, she moved from Queens to Dix Hills Long Island before the end of her junior year. There are two of her siblings: one of whom is older, named Gregory as well as a younger sibling named Evan. She started her career in the field of entertainment at 9 years old, and began modeling. Ron Stetson trained her in the methods of acting taught by Sanford Meisner at The Neighborhood Playhouse. This took about three years. Sandra Bullock and Michael Douglas were among other actors that received this instruction. She got her first part in the soap-opera Beverly Hills, 90210, in which she had to relocate from Los Angeles to Los Angeles. The role was as the leading lady in Johnny Mnemonic in which she performed almost all her stunts by herself. She also established her skills as an actor. Her agent was Matt LeBlanc, so through her talent agent, she was able to get a regular part on Friends.
