Chando is a current resident of New York City. Chando started her acting career in the fall of 2005 at Manhattan College. Chando was the very first Maddie Coleman of the television soap show As World turns. She played this role from 2005 until 2007 before returning for a period of time towards the end of 2009. Alexandra first made an acting appearance in 2002 through the TV series House Blend in the role in the role of Jenna Harper. The following year, she was cast on the American soap opera for television which was telecast in CBS, As the World Turns in the role of Maddie Coleman. Chando was first seen on television in True life (an American documentary) at the end of 2009. In 2009, she made her TV debut in another documentary she appeared on Sherri, a show on TV. In addition, Chando starred in the two episodes of Glory Dze in the role of Annabelle. She has also appeared in Castle, Hindsight and Dead People.
